Finger Dancers was formed when East Coast met West Coast, Jazz met
Blues, R&B met Latin and Country met Rock. This soulful duo is driven
by the percussive rhythm guitar and sultry vocals of Inez Woods, and
multi-instrumentalist Gloria Estrada, who weaves her Jazz-infused
walking basslines into their music while adding sweet vocal harmonies.
The duo was built on a foundation of friendship and mutual love for a
variety of musical genres. Finger Dancers has been described as
unique, melodic, powerful, tender, passionate, creative, and fun to
watch.
Their influences range from Ella Fitzgerald, Janis Joplin, Joe Pass,
Lhasa, to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonnie Raitt, Lila Downs, Cream, Led
Zeppelin, Billie Holiday, and The Beatles...to name a few!
